New research just released from Santa Rose County Board of County Commissioners Public Information Officer, Brandi Bates Whitehurst, addresses considerations for how public information officers can handle online trolls.
Brandi’s research “Trolls and Their Toll on the Social Media Bridge of Communications,” includes a survey of 150 public information officers from throughout the country to share how trolls have affected the ability to distribute information to the public and to share tactics for mitigating against the damage they can cause.
